BeerHeadZ

BeerHeadZ is a front window for our small chain of bars in the UK. It pulls the individual feeds (Facebook, Twitter etc) and news from all our branches and displays them on one website. It complements our Facebook pages which are run by the individual pubs. We are also developing pages which will double up as digital diplays in the pubs in the near future.

Tiny Tartan Tours

Tiny Tartan Tours provide bespoke, small group tours of Scotland. Newly created in late 2015 by owner Richard McKay, he needed a website to support his marketing efforts and to give his potential customers a taste of his tours.  We quickly identified that his ideal customer is aged 40 or over, fairly affluent and a keen traveller. This person likes to be organised but not necessarily to all the planning themselves. We know that the whole experience has to be smooth and immersive, so that they really feel that they get value for money from their tour. We agreed that the Tiny Tartan Tours website needed to capture leads for the business as well as drive direct enquiries for tours. Our initial time spent was focused on content creation. Richard had a huge amount of photographs of Scotland, which he had taken himself and it made perfect sense to use these to really show the audience what to expect from one of his tours.

Richard wanted a clean, uncluttered look for the website, which research showed was in line with the audiences preferences. I therefore stuck to a simple and straightforward colour scheme, with plenty of space around content to ensure that it was easy to read, with the focus being on the areas that mattered.
